A change this year for Educators Rising West Virginia is that we will elect state student officers for the 2020-2021 school year at this year’s spring conference. Students interested in running need to complete an application packet and read officer qualification guidelines. Prospective student officers may begin campaigning after arrival at the spring conference. They may set up their posters only in the designated area.
The candidates will be making speeches the evening of March 24th. Voting will occur the morning of March 25th, to allow chapters time to discuss the candidates. Remember, each chapter is allocated two votes. State officers will be announced at the award ceremony on March 25th.
