The 2019 Fall Leadership Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15th at the Days Inn Conference Center in Flatwoods. Teacher Leaders will receive detailed conference information in late August.

The 2018 Fall Leadership Conference was held on October 23rd in Flatwoods. The event featured election of student officers and workshops, hands-on activities, training for new chapter teacher leaders, and more. Students got training on ways to improve their competition entries, dressing for success, leadership, problem-solving, and more. We would like to thank the following for volunteering to present breakout workshops:

Sonja Haught (Technology Integration Specialist, Ritchie County Schools ) & Angie Summers (Central Office Administrator, Doddridge County Schools)
Justin Hodges (Teacher Leader, Ritchie County High School)
Dee Golden (Teacher Leader, Buckhannon-Upshur High School)
Shelby Anderson and Allison Knox (Roane Jackson Technical Center alumni)

We were also thrilled to welcome two new chapters joining us this year: Mingo Central High School with teacher leader Corbyn Fields and Tug Valley High School with teacher leader Jonathan Riffle!

Plus, we are happy to welcome back to Educators Rising West Virginia, Wheeling Park High School and their new teacher leader Alisha Curtin!
